Bark

Bark plans start at $5 a month for Bark Jr, with Bark Premium at $14 a month or $99 a year. Bark is a parental control service that monitors your child's social media, phones, tablets and computers and sends you alerts.

It also covers screen time limits, website and app blocking, and location tracking.

The lineup is split by device.

Bark Jr is the cheaper tier for screen time control, content filtering and live GPS with check-in features.

Bark Watch is a kids' smartwatch at $15 a month plus the device, and lets you monitor texts, track location and manage contacts.

Bark Home starts at $6 a month and manages internet-connected devices such as TVs and gaming consoles.

There is also Bark Phone, with plans from $29 to $89 a month; the Starter plan has no internet, app store or games.

Pick the tier by what your child actually uses, since the features differ a lot.
