Astra AI

Paste in a math problem, or a question from chemistry, physics or German, and Astra AI replies with the working laid out one step at a time rather than a bare answer.

Astra AI is an AI math tutor and homework helper built on GPT-4 Turbo, made for students who want hard concepts explained plainly and who would rather not pay for a human tutor.

It runs 24/7, which helps when homework lands late at night or the evening before a test.

The company says it has served more than 134,000 students, but that is its own count, not an independent one.

Math is the main focus.

Chemistry, Physics and German are covered too, so the German side can work as a light language learning aid.

There is also a money-back guarantee: if a student's math grade does not rise by at least 2 points, the fee is refunded.

That is a bold promise and a handy safety net, though you should read the terms before counting on it.

Astra AI fits students who learn best by watching each step get worked out.
