AnimeGen

On the web at aianimegen.org, AnimeGen turns a written prompt into an anime image without charging you anything.

It is a free AI anime generator and text to image tool, and you pick from several AI models depending on what you want to make.

Some are tuned for character illustrations, some handle text inside the picture, and others cover a wider range of content.

There is one catch to know before you start.

Images you generate are shown publicly on the site and can be indexed by search engines, so AnimeGen is a poor fit for private concepts, client work or anything you would rather keep unpublished.

For casual anime art, character ideas and quick experiments, the zero price makes it easy to try different models and compare the results.
