Alter AI

Alter AI turns your selfies into professional headshots. It is an AI headshot generator: you upload several photos of yourself, pick from a range of styles, and get back high-resolution images sized for different platforms.

The pitch is cost.

A session with a photographer is usually pricier, and Alter AI gives you a full commercial license and ownership of the results, so you can use them for work profiles or business materials.

Turnaround is relatively quick, though it can stretch when servers are busy.

Quality depends on what you feed it, so a varied set of clear selfies will serve you better than a handful of near-identical shots.

Note that there is no free trial, even though the pricing model is listed as free.
